I want to save paper in a daily report. The report has three table-columns. This data needs to flow from the first page-column into the next page-column, and then into the next page's first page-column, etc. How to do this?

in the section expert select the detail section
check the 'Format with Multiple COlumns as TRUE
a new tab appears called 'Layout'
click on it
change the formating to suite your set up

This worked perfectly! Thanks so much. Two small snafus that I figured out, that might help others with the same issue, is that you have to be careful so that the column width plus space between columns does not exceed the space between the left and right page margins. Also, if your data is grouped, as mine is, click the "Grouping..." radio button.

Hello,
I've created a report with 2 columns where the details area uses subreports. I've set the option to be 'Across then Down' in the Layout tab.

My issue is the first column on the first page 'spills' into the second column instead of going to a second page's first column.

Can anyone help me in accomplishing this?

Thanks in advance.
