I was not able to generate reports with the selected date range.

- i have taken two calender controls and two textboxes. iam inserting selected date in to textboxes (i.e., startdate and Enddate). While writing the selection formula, i'm getting lot of erros...

while running the application iam getting errors from crystal report as follows.
- missing )
- date time is required here.

fyi: i'm using the following formula.
"{ActivityLog.datefieldinDb}" +" between" +"'"+cal1.selecteddate.toshortdatestring+"'"+ "and""'"+cal2.selecteddate.toshortdatestring+"'"

I was not able to written proper syntax. Please help me out.......

If your database field is of date type only then you need to change your parameter field type to date.  Whatever type is in the field, the parameter must match.  If you edit the parameter, the type is specified in the top right corner
