Hi,

I am using a formula field in crystal reports. I have to construct a formula for the following scenario, If ReasonC="PH" then count has to be displayed. However, if there are no rows with the above condition, query results NULL and formula field value is empty. I tried using IsNull function, but it seems i cannot apply the condition, ReasonC="PH" in IsNull condition. Is there any ways to construct formula for above condtion?

Thanks,
Balaji G

Does 'count' keep track of all of the records with ReasonC = "PH"?
I am unclear what you mean by

However, if there are no rows with the above condition, query results NULL and formula field value is empty

If you want to use the 'count' for records with the "PH" condition, you can just check whether it is satisfied.
