how to compute interest forecast (diminishing computation)?
say:

Loan balance = 450
monthly interest rate = 0.015
months remaining = 5 months

what will be the code to compute the interest at the end of the term

Assuming variables have been declared

for i = 1 to monthsRemain do
(
   interestForMonth := (formula for calculating interest)
   totalInterest := interest + interestForMonth
);
totalInterest

Something like that. I don't know what the formula would be.

If you can share the formula used to calculate monthly interest and how it is related to the loan balance (ie: maybe it's compounded monthly) then I could probably write the formula for you.
