I am trying to  copy of the rpt. files in the sharepoint and maintain the version through it.

 

Has anyone tried doing the version maintainence of rpt files through sharepoint before and is there any way to integrate sharepoint to the enterprise so that when we check in rpt file in sharepoint we also have the option to check in , in the enterprise.

Rt now the steps are

 

chekout rpt file in sharepoint

do changes

check in with the changes

copy the file from sharepoint to the desktop

copy the file from desktop to the enterprise

 

It looks  a lengthy process and more over there is no way to check whether the enterprise copy is same as the sharepoint copy

 

Does anyone has any better way of doing the same task.I have seen in VSS the option to publish in enterprise in test environment and publish to produciton environment but i dont know how to achieve the same throught sharepoint.
