Hi

I have a report that groups invoices by invoice number. THe details show the items on the invoice with amounts and total them up. I run the report selecting by date the invoices are raised. It work really well.

I need to select invoices over a particular time period that show a particular item, some will have > 1 item but I need to show all items on the invoice if the one item appears on it.

What is the best way to do this?

Hoping someone can help

flag your groups by creating a formula to SUM these inclusionary data rows and then use the flag int eh group select statement
@flag
If field=item then 1
Sum at the group level
SUM(@flag,table.ionvoicenumber)
group select criteria
SUM(@flag,table.ionvoicenumber)>0

open the select expert
expand it
there is a toggle to flip crieria from Record Selection to Group Selection
Change it to Group Selection and use the SUm of flag at the group level > 0 criteria in there
