Hi All

i have been working on this from some time and for some odd reasons it is not giving me correct result. It looks starightforward but i am not able to figure out what is going wrong when i am doing the report.
Let me explain the subset of the problem which is running wrong.

There are three tables A,B,C
Table A is the main table which has all the Identification Number.Along with that there is an ID for level 1 , then for level 2 and then for level 3.
(Level 1 can have multiple level 2 records and level 2 can have multiple level 3 records)
The second table has similar information with addition of few more other details, like a required count for level 3 data and the id auto generated for this count.
The table 3 has the id genereated & multiple records for the ID generated in table 2. For reference refer to the table structure attached.

In grey shade is the information which i need in the report.I am able to get the sum from table 2 but some how when i do a count of ids in table 3 and pull it in the report all the numbers mess up. I know there its doing cartesian product but when and how to resolve it i am not sure.

Your expert advice will be appreciated.

Thanks

I could not view your example.  However, a couple of things to think about:
(a) sometimes data is set to 'distinct' meaning counts and sums may not always equate.
(b) rounding of numbers can sometimes be weird, although not sure if this applies to you.
(c) when all else fails, review detail data.  you may be suppressing detail printing, but to solve a problem sometimes you got to review the raw data.
