Hello,

I am trying to create a formula that allows the user to make no selection in the parameter fields.

The formula that we are now using look like:

{Afdeling.AfdelingNaam} = {?Selectie Afdeling} and
{Functie_titel.Functie_titel} = {?Selectie functie} and
{Personeelsfuncties.Status} = {?Selectie status} and
{Werknemers.Ploeg} = {?Selectie ploeg}

Is it possible to change this so that the user is able to leave the fields (1 or more) empty. When A field is empty all the records should be displayed ofcourse.

Best regards,
Sven.

CR 2008 has a nice option for the parameters that is called Optional Prompt. I don't believe this is possible outside of 2008 though.

Hello,

as far as I can see this is an usefull option for a static parameter where I can add the option all. But in my case it is a dynamic list so I can't add the  option all.

Or can I add a record in a dynamic list?

Sven.

You can use a Command to Union in an 'All' option to each table and use that as the source.
