created a columns in crystal 8 for export purposes.  the header and footer are surpressed.  the only informataions exported out are the detail line.

Exported to ODBC format.

When I open up the ODBC table from the Pervasive.SQL control centre.  the details are all correct except for the title of the columns.

From the crystal report I named

Column 1 as CUSTOMER
Couumn 2 as NAME

The title of the columns from the Pervasive control centre becomes:

Column 1 as DE_CUSTOMER
Column 2 as DE_NAME

how do i go about to overwrite the title of the detail columns to what i defined in the crystal report format?

as far as I know, and don't export much, you have no control over how CR exports things.

According Brian's book, while ODBC exports only the detail section, it will create a column for other objects in the report.  If they are called Customer or Name, it probably is prefixing the object so that you know it is from the Detail Section.

I would try changing the names for all other sections and see if that helps.
