Guys,
 
absolutely new to CR. I have designed a P & L statement using crystal reports.
 
i want to be able add a total field at the bottom that does a conditional sum
 
the sql woulld be
 
select sum(actuals) from tbl_name where not typecode = 'vol' 
 
i have tried using the formula editor and can not get it to work. could someone guide me to the proper place.

Create a running total that summarizes the desired field and evaluates at {tbl_name.typecode}<>'vol'
Set that to Reset NEVER.
Put in the Report Footer.
