Hi,
 
I need to create 2 prompts as 1) start date 2) end date
 
Prompt must display  start date with default value as currentdate noon
              end date with default as currentdate-1 noon
And user can slo select date in the propmpt .
 
Startdate noon to enddate noon (with defult value as currentdate -1 to current date)
 
Kindly help me in this regard.

You can't do that with parameters in CR. However, one trick around this is to make the report a subreport of a dummy report. In the dummy report you can pass the datetime values to the parameters of the subreport (which is really your main report). It's a bit of a hack, but its the only way to get parameters to work the way you want them to.
