	Have a data field with a full domain layout (dhene.us.ese.com). How do I trim the information after the ".us.ese.com"?

	Need to add one more thing, the front part of the data changes in size. so the trim right function won't work.

	try using this in the formula editor: right({Table.Domain Name},(length({TableDomain Name})-instr({Table.Domain Name},"."))) Where Table=table name and Domain Name=Domain Name I tried this with: dhene.us.ese.com returned us.ese.com asdhene.us.ese.com returned us.ese.com hope this helps! JK
