Ok When you have grouped by Name

you will have display as below

A             Group Header

              Details Section
10
12
15
18

Group Footer

B              Group Header
                 Details
19
12

Group Footer

Now place the Group Name ,and Field for 18 and 12 in

 Group Footer Section

so it will display
A 18
B 12

Don't forget to suppress your details section ,right click details section  select section expert and the suppress (no drilldown)

cheers
Rahul

i have last row data displayed on my report (this was the way i wanted it )..... when i click on any field it opens a new page and displays all data inside my group .....

It also displays last row of data which is there in Group footer section ... i dont want that to be displayed in the new page  .... i cant supress Group footer section bcoz i want that in my first page but not on second page ....

Hi Sneha,

I have just copied from Crystal Help...... please read .....

Drilldowngrouplevel

Returns

Number

Action

Returns a number that indicates the group level of the current drill down view, or 0 if it is not a drill down view.

Examples

If a report has groups on Country and Region, then DrillDownGroupLevel returns 0 in the view without drill downs. Within the drill down view for a Country, DrillDownGroupLevel returns 1, and within the drill down view of a Region, DrillDownGroupLevel returns 2.

To check if you are in a drill down view, test to see if DrillDownGroupLevel > 0 returns true.
