Good morning!  I'm working on report for our organization, and the "must have" piece of the report is the pie chart.  This report is run for one employee at a time, so the data will change after every refresh.  The problem that I'm coming up with is that the Axis Labels move with each refresh (new employee).  So, if one employee has 10 items that will be displayed, the alignment looks good, but if the next employee only has 6, then the labels move all over the place.  I know that the chart itself can be locked down, but does anyone know how to lock down the labels?  I am currently using Crystal version 10.

Thank you!
George

Unfortunately, the labels in the pie charts are a source of frustration.  There really is not a good way to "lock them down," as you describe.  Part of this is very much by design.  The labels need to move with the slices, and the slices are going to slide around the pie.  Part of this seems to just be a limitation in the program.

One option that may help is to use the "Labels on Sides" option.  This will move the labels to the sides of the chart.  They still move around, but at least they have a bit more room before they start overlapping or whatnot.

Thank you very much for the reply!  After much trial and error, I decided to make the "executive decision" and remove the labels.  I figure that the values should work out ok.  After all, the labels are in the legend, and each piece of the pie is assigned a color scheme that is also in the legend.  Thanks again for your response!
