The data I now have looks like:

Supervisor
Job Id        Stage      Date1     Date2    Var
David          first        10/1/15 10/2/15   1
David          second    10/1/15 10/3/15   2
David          third        10/1/15 10/4/15   3
David          fourth      10/1/15 10/5/15   4            and so on...

I want it to look like:
Supervisor
JobID        first                               second                          third
            date1 date2 var   date1 date2 variance   date1 date2 variance

Is there a way to accomplish this?

Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

You would have to do this as a crosstab to get that format. However, you're going to have to do a couple of things to get the format right.

- Create a formula for the stage that will translate the word to a number so that it will sort correctly in the columns. You can then alter the group options on the column header to display the stage name.

- In the Cross-Tab Expert, the row is the supervisor job id. The columns will be the formula you created above. The summaries will be something like the following:

Date1: minimum of Date1
Date2: maximum of Date2
Variance: this will be a formula that might look something like this:
DateDiff('d', GridValueAt(CurrentRowIndex, CurrentColumnIndex, 0), GridValueAt(CurrentRowIndex, CurrentColumnIndex, 1))

- Right click on the cross-tab, select "Summarized Field Labels" and select "Summarize Horizontally" to show the fields horizontally.

- Do the same thing and select "Show Summarized Field Labels" to get the initial column labels for the dates and variance. Double-click on each of the labels and type in the column header text that you want.
