Topic: Create barcode label Posted: 14 Oct 2015 at 6:49am |
Hi everyone,
I have the table below, and I would like to create barcode labels for each type.
| Type |
UPCNumber |
Quantity |
| 1 |
1234567847851 |
10 |
| 2 |
2547896336587 |
5 |
I was able to create one label per type.
However, I don't know how to create 10 times type1 label and 5 times type2
label.
Thank you for your help

What is the maximum quantity that quantity that any item can have. If it's 10, this is doable, if it's 100, it's not, if it's in between, it's up to you.
Assuming that all of the data is in a details section, you would create one detail section with all of the data in it for each label you want to produce, up to whatever maximum you select.
Then, go to the Section Expert for the second details section and click on the formula button to the right of the "Suppress" checkbox - DO NOT check the checkbox! Add this formula using your table and field names:
{MyTable.Quantity} < 2
For the third details section it would be:
{MyTable.Quantity} < 3
You would do this for all sections except the first one, changing the number each time.

Oh, and if you're printing this through a barcode printer, you'll want to turn on "New Page After" for each details section.
