Hi,

If I have a text box that is only shown if it meets a certain condition how do i have it so the space it occupied is ignored? That is to say, the text the follows replaces it's location.

Thanks

If it is vertical space it is taking up, then put it in it's own section and conditionally suppress that section.  If is horizontal space then if you are using CR 2011 or above (do not remember if older versions will let you), you can programmatically adjust a text box X value.

You may also consider dropping all the fields into a text box and suppressing the field within the text box
or
create a formula field to concatenate all the text you want starting with an if-then to conditionally include the starting value you want
