     Posted: 23 Jan 2008 at 4:03am

I've added a label to my page header section that I am trying to get to show up when the user drills down to the Detail section of the report.  The formula I've used for suppression is: DrillDownGroupLevel <= 1.

Unfortunately, I can't seem to get the label to show up in Print Preview of the report design when I do the drilldown.  Does anyone have any thoughts?  I'd greatly appreciate the assistance.

Thanks,

Brandie

Nope.  That doesn't work.  I get the fields in the detail (separate tab opens up), but the page header itself does not show up on the details page.

This is in print preview of the designer, BTW.  I don't know if that makes a difference.  I wouldn't think it would.

Ok This is what I have done

Created Group on Country

UK
Canada
USA

Placed  Label show up in text box  in group header suppressed as Drill DownGroupLevel = 0

Details Hide Drill Down Ok selected.

Then in the label textbox right click x+2 suppress option used the formula

DrillDownGroupLevel = 0

When I double click on country name

i get the new tab for country with the  Label Show Up

Hmm.  So I can't put it in the page header is what you're saying...

I'll try moving it and see what it looks like.  Thanks,

Yup....

Do one thing in your preview tab  right click on left hand side of sections and select show section names and you will see as you double click on Group Header the Report Header and Page Header Sections are not displayed...

Well, dangnabbit! I thought you could use page headers for that.  Now I'm going to have to have multiple group headers (which I was trying to avoid) to do all the other fancy report stuff I'm doing.

Thanks for your help, Rahul.  I appreciate it.
