Afternoon all,

The way my report is currently structured is to have multiple sub-reports in a main report; which is then automatically emailed out to the required recipients through Business Objects.

There are currently multiple versions of the report per client (could be up-to 100) so I am trying to standardise and centralise as much as possible.

Rather than have a 'front page' per report I am considering a centralised front page and for that to then be included in each report as a subreport.

My question is; is there a way to make this auto-update on the reports without having to open them up individually to refresh ?

maybe you could try
a report that has all of the client report as sub reports
then based on a parameter (client name or something )
all of the sub reports would be suppressed except for the parameter selected
then add this to your main report as sub report and link parameters.

Hi Kostya,

Unfortunately because the reports are automated on a daily/weekly/monthly basis I wouldn't be able to use parameters otherwise I would be required to open each report and amend the parameter before the automated delivery job.

Thank you for the suggestion though.
