Anu,

As of my knowledge Business Objects is tool where u can publish all your crystal reports. In simple way i can say its like a reporting server, where you can schedulde a report automatically, so that a report runs at a specified time. Also u can email a report to list of user after the schedule.
Business objects comes with a list of applications as
 1. Central Management Console (reporting server)
 2. Crystal Report Explorer
 3. Designer
 4. Desktop Intellegience
 5. Web Intellengience
 6. Info View (User can log on here and can acess reports to whom he has access)

Anu if you want still more information please mail me at savan.alm@gmail.com , so i can send u the downloads of business objects which will let you know in details or you can log on to businessobjects.com

Thanks
Savan

Sneha,

i got a nearby solution to your problem on a different forum. The reply is as below. Please check if this could help to resolve your query.

Create a Parameter with your choices. Create a formula with your sort parameters: like @Sort

If {?SortField} = "Item" Then
   ({CHG_Change.Item}; crascendingOrder ;)
 Else
   ({@Date}; crdescendingOrder;)

Move your formula into a header and then suppress. click on your sort icon and move @sort to the sort process.
Thanks
Savan
