I have a commission report that links to a table two times.  After I added the second table alias, i saw the report took hours to run instead of minutes.  When looking at the database links display, I've noticed that in one instance of the table, it shows the fields that are indexed, but in the other, no indexes are shown.  Any idea why this would happen and if it indicates it is not using the indexes on that table alias?

Yes - the main table has all orders to be paid commission, that links by order # to table A(which doesn't show the index symbols).  Table A links to Table B by document #.

In crystal when you add tables and even join them they do not alter your data set unless you set the join to be enforced or unless you use fields from both tables in the join. So you can see your run time and data set change drastically by just adding a field to the report as it enforces the join.

I also cannot tell based on your description which table was actually aliased.
the description of the report behavior sounds more like your report data set increased drastically.
do you have page n of m in the report,
take it out and see if you can at least see the reports first page when you run it.
so what was aliased?
