Vertical lines are tricky. Normally it just requires that the lines end in the correct section. I normally zoom in on the report to make sure the line ends in the correct section.

You might need to create a second detail section and have the lines end there. It has worked for me in the past. Like I said vertical lines are tricky in Crystal Reports.
i´ve created a second etail Section an draw the lines from the first Section to the second.
It was the same effect. On some pages the lines overlaps.
My FiledObject start at top: 30 because there is no top indent for formatting. And i´m in Germany and we have a lot of ÖÄÜ and if i print the report the colon over the letters are on the bottom line of the last row.
By accident i moved the filedobject of the first column and this starts at top: 0 and the report layout is fine.
That is very tricky.
Is there a solution for a top indent for textformatting?
