Hi,

i´ve generated a Report with some fields in detail with lines between the fields with the option ExtendToBottomOfSection.

That´s working very good. All my fields can grow. So sometimes it happens that the lines will go to the over the last row on page.

How can i supress this.

I´ve a pdf with the example but i can´t upload.

Vertical lines are tricky. Normally it just requires that the lines end in the correct section.  I normally zoom in on the report to make sure the line ends in the correct section.

I think the lines end in the detail section.

I've set the height of the fieldobject.

The line starts at top 0 width a height of 210. The fields are 210 height.

The horizontal line on the end of the detail section starts at top 320.

It is not on every page, only if some fieldobjects grow.

You might need to create a second detail section and have the lines end there.  It has worked for me in the past.  Like I said vertical lines are tricky in Crystal Reports.

So,

i´ve created a second etail Section an draw the lines from the first Section to the second.

It was the same effect. On some pages the lines overlaps.

My FiledObject start at top: 30 because there is no top indent for formatting.
And i´m in Germany and we have a lot of ÖÄÜ and if i print the report the colon over the letters are on the bottom line of the last row.

By accident i moved the filedobject of the first column and this starts at top: 0
and the report layout is fine.

That is very tricky.

Is there a solution for a top indent for textformatting?
