Are you doing this with just XI  or are you using CR.NET 2003? I ask because in .nET 2003 there is a bug with exports and parameters.

Unfortunately, I haven't had to deal with this problem in over two years and I can't remember the details. But I think one way around it is to change the object model that you are exporting from. I forget which one has the bug in it, but if you are exporting with the Viewer class, then do it from the ReportDocument class. If it's the other way around, then try the viewer. Anyway, I forget which it is but I think one class exports to PDF properly and the other doesn't. Sorry for not being able to be more specific.

Oh yeah - do you have the latest service pack? They were aware of the problem when I encountered it a couple years ago and there is a chance that they've fixed it in a service pack.

Oh yeah - I forgot to tell you that if you can replace the parameters for formulas, then you can populate the formulas from VB.NET with no problem. In most cases, parameters aren't really necessary and you can use formulas to store the value. Since you are populating the report data from VB, you won't be prompting the user for their input.
