When you mean select, do you mean using an SQL query?  If so, you should be able to create a command.

I hope this helps.

Ok, when you open Crystal Reports and click on Blank Report.  You need to chose a data source.  In most cases once you establish a connection you double click on  Add Command.  A dialog box will open and provided the SQL is in a form that it accepts, clicking on the OK will do a syntax check of the SQL code.  I see in your SQL code several places where you are using bracketed fields.  Are those supposed to be parameter?  If so, it is quite possible that the syntax checker will not accept the fields. If you are using MS-SQL as a data source, you can create parameters within the Add Command dialog and parameters added into SQL code have the syntax '{?someparameter}' Also it appears you have a call to a stored procedure.  Make sure you have sufficient rights to be able to call that stored procedure.

I hope this helps.
