Hi All

I want a negative number/currency field to display like this ($432.28), not $(432.28). I have written the following formula in the format editor dealing with negatives;

if{@lab cost variance}<0 then ("(""$"{@lab cost variance}")") else {@lab cost variance};

I 'check' the formula and am told that 'The ) is missing' in the 'then' part of the formula.

Please help

try and just set it to currency and then use the system default

ccur({@lab cost variance})

EDIT: really you can just change the @ lab cost varaiance to use the ccur(val) in its result
