i have a problem with a report that uses the average number of working days within a month. this date varies between plants who have different shift patterns. After trying several forumulaes, i have deceided the simplest way is
select currentdate
 
case 08/07/2013:5
case 09/07/2013:6
 
etc
 
however i can not get crystal to accept the 08/07/2013 as a date.
 
I have tried several version, can anyone advise what i am doing wrong.

why not convert the date to a string instead...
totext({table.field}, "dd/MM/yyyy")
