I have a report that I only want certain records to result and don't know how to accomplish this.

Acct #  CNO1  CNO2  CNO3  CNO PLN
111      MC3                           1
111                 MCP                88888
111                             MO2    3
222      MCU                           1
222                 MSP                 88888
333      MCC                           100

I want lines with acct #111 not to result to the report because CO3 contains data which could be any 3 characters.
I want lines with acct #222 to result because CO3 is blank and the CNO PLN  is equal to 88888 and would only be 88888
I want lines with acct #333 to result because CNO2 and CNO3 are blank.

couldn't you just set your record select filter to only bring in acct #222 and #333 or to not allow #111

in your record select you just say
{acct} <>#111 to disallow

or {acct} in ['#222', '#333'] to allow only those accounts

No this wouldn't work because I don't know what the account numbers would be.
This is a report to look for any account number with a secondary insurance carrier.  The primary carrier is always in CNO1.  A secondary carrier could be in CNO2 or CNO3 depending on how the primary carrier is set up.
If the primary carrier is set up to have a profee carrier then the CNO2 carrier will always have a CNO PLN of 88888 (ex acct 111 and 222).  If the primary carrier is set up not to have a profee carrier then the CNO2 carrier field will be blank (ex acct 333).

crystal only solution is to do group select
insert a formula to flag your groups
group onACCT#
//flag
if isnull(CNO3) then 0 else 1
sum this at the ACCT#
sum(flag,acct#)
now use that result to exclude groups using the group select expert
sum(flag,acct#)<>0
