what's the best way to check if an item exist in table 1 but not in table 2 ?

Hi

You will get lot of examples in google..

try this :

Select Item from table1 where Item <> (select Item from table2)

outer join the tables and use a select formula of isnull(table2.join field)

Hi

Drag two tables into the report and go in Link tab go in Link Type and select != radio button.
