Topic: CR Data after closing Posted: 03 Dec 2012 at 12:55am |
|
Hey guys,
i've got a problem, i couldn't find any solution for. My Crystal Report is showing data from two DataTables, everything works fine.
The problem occurs when i close the report and open it up again, or another one. In this case, the newly opened report contains Data from the report i opened at first.
The DataTables provide the right data but somehow the report remembers the old data. i'm calling the dispose() and Close() method for the crystal report document and for the report viewer control but the data still remains.
Hope anybody can help with me with that.
greetings
robert

go to File, Save Data with Report, is that checked? also check, File->Options->Reporting->Save Data With Report
you can always check 'Discard Saved Data on Open'

Well, I have seen this one or two times, reload the report with new parameters and run a few times, then run with empty parameters and save it.
See if that fixes.
Otherwise can you refresh the report in business objects.

Yes i gonne try it with a new report file, fresh from start. also running it a few times with empty DataTables didn't changed the behaviour.
What do you mean with refresh the report in business objects?
