Hello All,

I need help sorting this data

Payer       Client      Item   Amount
BabaA      BabaB     Fee    $40
BabaB      BabaA      Fee    $40
JonesA     BabaA      VA      $760

                JonesA     MA      $1700





the field name "Payer" and "Client"  are actually same name so can i sort it to  match?

Something does not make sense.  You say the Payer and Client are the same name, but at (I am assuming) at the detail record level, they do not match.   So it is hard to know what to do.  If you want to 'ignore' the Client field, you could just the the Payer field and second time and just re-name the column heading.

What happen is the payer comes from another database and the client comes another but the names are the same and i wanted to sort them to aligned

How are you joining the databases?  From what you are showing us, they are not the same. Very confused at the moment.
