I am hoping this is the right place to ask for help. My boss is working on a Crystal Report and having some issues and asked me to do some research and try to find an answer. We use Crystal Reports 2011 in case you need to know that.

How do you combine a subreport into a primary report into one flowing record?

Let me know if that makes sense and if not what extra information you would need.

very vague question but in general my guess at what they are trying to do is accomplished via the linking options of the subreport to the main report

Hi Chad,
yes you can combine sub report to main report by using linking sub report and you can pass the one flowing record value by using shared variable.
