Hey there folks!

I've sought to add an image - in this case a very thin, vertical line of dots - to a report, but as soon as I've added it, most of my report vanishes! Can anyone help me overcome this irritating and likely simple issue?

Hi

Some times we can't control image size, due to this it overlap on your existing records.

Try this :

ReplicateString('.',25)

Thanks,

Right-click on the image in your report.  Select "Move" and "To Back".  This will ensure that the image is always in back of the other objects on your report so they should now appear.

Sastry - that won't work as this is a vertical line not a horizontal one!

Hey Hilfy

Sounds like just what I'm looking for (coming from a background steeped in Visio), but doesn't seem to be working; the rest of my report is still.. absent! Any thoughts?

What kind of a section are you putting the image in?  Could it be that the data is on the next page?

I would put the image in a page header section (make sure it's smaller than your total page height including the page footer!), right-click on the section it's in and go to the Section Expert.  Then turn on "Underlay Following".
