Hi,
I'm using Crystal reports 8.5
i have few columns in report and they are separated by vertical lines. i am adding grand total to those columns in report footer.
problem is: Grand totals are coming in separate page even though there is enough space in the previous page. and those vertical lines are extending to bottom of the page.

please shed light to solve this.

How big is your page footer section?  If you're not using it, then suppress it.  If you are, then make it as small as you can.  Also, go to the Section Expert and make sure that you don't have "New Page After" turned on for any of the sections.

Hi Dell,Thanks for your reply.

yes it is because of "New Page After" in the other section.
is there a way to display the report footer in the same page if there is enough space.

Try this:  For the section that has "New Page After" turned on, turn it off and click on the formula button to the right of the checkbox.  In the formula type:

Not OnLastRecord

This should give you the New Page After for all of your groups except the last one.  Then make sure that your report footer section has "Keep Together" turned on in the Section Expert.  This will put it to a new page if there's not enough room for it.
