Hello,

I am a user of Crystal Reports 2008 and I made a Cross-Tab report that is not correctly exported to Excel (97-2003 data only).

The problem is that the title is written in the wrong cell as you can see in the screenshot below:

The first title is correctly in C2 but the up-following titles are shifted to the right (e.g. 'Geschenkkörbe' should be in D2).

I also tried with a trial of Crystal Reports 2011 but ther is the same issue.

Does anybody have an idea how to fix this?

If you need further information I am happy to post it.

Thanks,
Martin

I don't think there's any way around this with the Data Only export.  Crystal doesn't give us any way to control the export beyond the options that you see in the Export screen.  Does this work if you do an Excel export that's not Data Only?  Cross-tabs usually export pretty cleanly that way.

Hey hilfy, thanks for the hint. I tried a non-data-only export but the output is not usable to further process the data because it uses many merged cells and other unclean formats.

When we cannot control it then it may be a bug that needs to be fixed by SAP.

Yeah...Good luck with that!  This is the way the export has behaved through many versions of Crystal.  I'm sure others have complained about it with, as you can see, no success at getting it changed.
