Dear all experts here, i start to do crosstab. My crosstab format now is like below:

                        Column1      |     Column 2        |         Total
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Total        |            100          |          1000         |         1100

Can I remove the "Total" word? I just want the crosstab show as

        Column1      |     Column 2
---------------------------------------------
            100          |          1000

is this possible? Thanks alot

You just have to suppress the field, you cannot remove it.

Try this:

1.  Right-click on the cross-tab and select Cross-Tab Expert.

2.  Go to the Customized Style tab.

3.  Turn on Suppress Row Grand Totals and Suppress Column Grand Totals.

I can't use supress column, while suppress the total figure will be missing as well. I just want remove the "Total" word..

Workaround is using formula, and use line tool to draw a table out hence can control the table design.. :)

Another option using the cross-tab would be to set the font color for the word "Total" to the same color as the background.  The word would still be there but it wouldn't be visible.
