I do have an 'antique' problem.
A very long tome ago

a database program is being written, that has functioned very well up to now.
The company now has a new logo and a new adress.
The .exe program is based on a MDB database file, and there is a seperate directory where all the .RPT files reside.
I need to only edit 3 templates by just opening them in Crystal reports, deleting the 2 logo files, and delete the adress data at the bottom of the file (since currently the NEW adress is being preprinted on the paper, as are the new logo's.
No problem you would think, but Crystal reports 8.5 (that we have for other editing other reports) is capable of opening the RPT files, but... cannot save the RPT files in version 4 (which is the version that according to the save-function is needed in order to get the report still running).
Are there perhaps some programmers or enthousiastic 'collectors' that still are able to install 4.0 and perform these 3 minor edits on 3 files?
Or are there (as far as you guys / girls know) any other tools that are able to edit such old stuff while NOT overwriting it to a newer coded version?
The 3 files are at URL:

Any help from the forum is highly appreciated here!
Kind regards,
René
