	I'm currently working on a report and it works for yestarday info look up (SUBSTR(a.loc,7,8) IN ('S-X5','S-X=096','CAT15','FLI','S-X=230I','FLOORM') and b.sch_strt_dt <= YEST) yet it doesn't work for today date (SUBSTR(a.loc,7,8) IN ('CTI514OO') and ((b.seq_no <=6 and b.sch_strt_dt = sysdate) or b.sch_strt_dt< sysdate))

	Is there any data for today's date? It could be that you may need an outer join on data relating to today. If the date is the only thing that is chaning, I would validate all your conditions meet today's data.

	also check if there is time element in your data as that is the easiest thing to miss...the dates match but the time portion doesn't
