I have three input parameters in my report ?StartDate,
?EndDate, ?Department. All these parameters are created at the SQL Command Level, NOt report level. I wanted to make the ?StartDtae and ?EndDate to be optional parametrs. Can i do make them optional? If yes how do i do? WHen i see in the parameter edit window,(Parameter>> right click on the parameter name >> edit) the 'Optional' option is default to False and can not change it to True.

allow them to be null in the sql and code for that...then your user can check the box that says parameter is null
