Topic: Crystal Report problem Posted: 22 Jun 2012 at 3:59am
I am using Crystal Report 2008. I need help for 2 problems i need to solve.
1. I want to set 2 images visible for certain conditions. These conditions are dependent on Parameters passed to report. If the parameter status is N or A then Image1 is displayed else Image2 will be displayed.
2. I want to display same images in Report Footer and Page footer and apply same condition as above in both Report Footer and Page footer.
i added below condition for this as below:
{?@Status} <> 'A' and {?@Status} <> 'U'
But the condition is working for first page only. I think the images are displayed in Report Header only. On first i am able to see images as per the conditions but on second page i am able to see image1 only. The condition is not working page 2 onwards.
How i can apply same images from Page 2 onwards and apply same condition, page footer section or if the report footer may be repeated because when i looked at my Page Footer section in Report Design it is Suppressed.

when i looked at my Page Footer section in Report Design it is Suppressed.
Is the section suppressed or just the picture? Have you put the suppression formula on the section where the picture appears or on the picture object itself?

the Image1 and page footer is suppressed. but on page1 the condition is working. it is not working page2 onwards. The page footer is suppressed at the design time and it has no any content. is the Report footer gets repeated for each page. or i need to add any formula to repeat the images on each page and apply the same condition.

The report footer won't repeat on every page. If you want it on every page you need to use a page footer or a group footer. Your suppression formula should work there as well.
