Is that possible to remove the total on the bottom of the cross table report?
 
i.e.                            total
             label 1           20
             label 2           30
           ---------------------------
                                   50 ( it needs to be removed)

Yes.  Right-click on the cross tab and go to the Cross Tab Expert.  Go to the "Customize Style" tab and turn on "Suppress Column Grand Totals".
