Topic: Reverse subreport results

Crystal XI, I have a subreport that pulls notes for an invoice, the notes show up like:
1-25-2012 - completed work
1-23-2012 - worked on area
1-15-2012 - etc...
I would like to flip those results over to read 1-15-2012 first.

Are these dates always the first part of the Notes?
If so, I would create a formula extracting the substring as a date, and putting it in the same line as the note.
You can then suppress it so it can't be seen, but still sort on it.

They are not always in the notes, but there is a data field with the note date, I will try to do what you said. Thank you
Edit:
Worked,
Thank you
