	i have created a report by joining four tables due to joins it is repeating some records i used suppression if duplicate it works fine but now when i am going to sum amount then the result of that sum is also including suppressed values.. :-(:-( Plz help me out i have to deliver this project to my client....

	try right click the field you want to summarize on the report then select insert>summery....

	s# amount 1 100 1 100 2 200 2 200 its sum will be 600 i solved this repeatation problem now it is looks like s# amount 1 100 2 200 but still sum of this is 600 :-(

	How did you solve the duplicate records? If you're just surpressing them they're still in the data so will be included in any summary fields. You need to exclude them from the analysis by either fixing the joins, using a SQL command or using the record select expert. Regards, Ryan. Edited by rkrowland - 01 Mar 2012 at 11:58pm
