Hi, I am a brand new Crystal XI user and am looking at a report that someone else created. The problem with it is, if one of the columns of data has a cell that does not contain data, the remaining columns of data move over into the blank cell so the data does not appear in the columns it belongs to?
I'm pasting a sample of my problem below… in my example below for March… sales person “James" didn’t show revenue in the table we were pulling from and as a result, my crystal report put the next column over “state” info into the revenue column? Is there a way to keep this from happening?

Any advice is greatly appreciated!

What we have to do in the past is create a formula that either displays the field or if it is empty (null, etc.), then it displays a set number of spaces (or zeros if appropriate).  If it is a number or currency field, you need to convert it to text if you want to display spaces.

try to use a formula for Revenue
if isnull(table.
Revenue) or table.Revenue="" then 0 else table.Revenue
or in report options select
convert database null values to default
