Hi,

I am trying to sort on a field, Store number which is a Group footer. There are 2 groups in this report, Customer then Material but they are not displayed in the report. I need to sort on Store number.

There is just
Page Header -   Different headings
Page Footer - Display/calculations - I am using store        number here.
Report Footer - Totals.

Sort Expert, sorts first on the groups and ignores on the Store number(numeric).

Any Help is appreciated...I am a bit new to this.

Thanks in advance.

Groups always supersede other sorting.
You can do top n group sorting if you all of the rows in the group have the same store or if you want to use the max or min within that group.
You can also possibly do a group 1 as your store number and hide that.
