Same effect, create shared variables for each category and set them true/false then just display in the group footer, suppress the details.
Though it its own right DBlank's solution is a bit more elegant, much less work.

For the reply.  As you can tell I am new at this.  Your suggestion is great!  But, here is the next question.  If I group on Employee and you say to suppress the group header and the details, then where would the group employee and formula fields go?

to clarify the formulas in the group footer would be the MAXIMUM summary fields only.
