Hello:

I am working on a report where i am pulling the data i need from a multiple iteration table (basicallly users add a new row into the table and enter information that populated into the row therefore there is multiple rows of information) i need to pull all the information in those rows. The purpose of my report is to display all the emergency contacts for a specific client.

so when i am writing my crystal report
I have grouped by type of relationship
I tried entering my data into the details and this works  however crystal gives me a row of the same information everytime the row was opened and resaved (with the same information)

I also tried putting the information in the group header but it will only display the 1st set of information entered. (i need all emergency contacts)

any ideas?

do you have a primary key field in your table that is created on initial insert and remains static regardless of the number of times the record is updated?

well I will assume here that you want the last row of any relation for a client that has the same name.
YOu can first group on client ID
you can then create a formula field to try and make a distinct string for each relation. I am guessing at the structure here...
table.relation + '-' + relation.fname + '-' + relation.mname + '-' + relation.lname
if any ogf these field can be NULL make sure to change the formula to use defualt vlaues for Nulls
group on this formula field (group 2)
sort by your datetimestamp field (assuming you have one)
place the data you want to see in the group footer and suppress the detail section
