	please help, i'm creating a line graph and the formula i created should to sum on my data value for the graph is 12-(field)/12*100 but if i add and divide with the static number 12 it's not calculating correctly, i'm getting weird number.

	not exactly sure what you are trying to get at but maybe add in a parenth on the first part of your statement (12-(field))/12*100 Edited by DBlank - 08 Aug 2011 at 4:27am

	thanks for the response DBlank, but i tried that and it doesn't work. if i put the formula in the table of the report it works correctly the problem is in the graph it's not summing correctly.

	so you are creating a formula field with the above formula placing it in the report and it calculates *per row* as desired then you are creating a chart as a line graph and using teh fomrula field as the Show Value field and it is incorrect? What are you using for the On Change of? What is the summary tyope set to?

	the On Change of i'm using the date grouped by day, i even tried to group the formula by date but still not coming correct. the summary is set to Sum

	so in the report design group on the same date field, set the group to day and do a SUM of the formula field at the day level. Do you get the correct values there? If not what were you expecting to get and what did you get (some sample data)? Edited by DBlank - 09 Aug 2011 at 5:34am
