I have a table field that has a distict set of values (numberic).
How can i count all values except 3110?

3110

3110
3110
3110
3223
3223
3321
3321

Create a running total and evaluate where {table.field}<>3110
|< /\ '][' ( )

Frnhtgli, is there a formula to say "dont count the most frequent value?"

you need to create a formula that says
if {field} <>'3110' then 1 else 0
then sum that
if you want a count by number, group by number then sum on the group

the <>'3110' wont work since the value changes with parameter selection, I used this:
If ({Trips.LineGroupId})= mode ({Trips.LineGroupId},{Service.ServiceName}) then 0 else 1
which works great in the detail , however it will not allow me to sum the field, why?
is there anyway around this?
