Crystal IX

1. Added an paramenter to existing report to prompt for affilliation. The table is just ID #, code, description.  Selected code & description, and did get a listing.  Code is nvarchar, but only records that are showing are the ones that start with numeric and none of the records that all alpha are showing.  Can someone explain to me why this is happening & how to fix it.
2. Is here a limit to how many items can be in the drop down list?  If so, is there a way to change the number.  At the moment the table is about 1400 records & does grow but at a slow rate. Or, are all the records not showing because for another reason?
3. How to maintain the Data Source for the parameters.  We have several outdated and can no longer use.  We would like to clean up so them and ones that are used.

Thanks for any help!

what is your parameter type?
what happens if you just select code, do they all display?
perhaps not all codes have  description.

Parameter is string type.
When select a code the listing does not change and all the codes have descriptions.

There is a default limit of 1000 rows in a dynamic parameter. You can increase the number by modifying a registry key.
